The Verdict

Xiaomi 15 Pro delivers substantially better specs across nearly every dimension for $100 less. Its 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 3200 x 1440 resolution and 3200 nits brightness vastly outperforms Pixel 4's 5.7-inch P-OLED screen at 600 nits. Performance differences are dramatic: Snapdragon 8 Elite with Adreno 830 GPU crushes the older Snapdragon 855, while 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage dwarf Pixel 4's 6GB and 128GB maximum. Camera systems show Xiaomi's advantage through its 50MP main sensor with 1-inch type sensor (versus 12.2MP), 8K video capability, and superior telephoto with 3x OIS compared to Pixel 4's 2x. Battery capacity nearly doubles at 6100 mAh with 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, making Pixel 4's 2800 mAh battery look antiquated. Pixel 4 offers excellent software optimization and computational photography through Google's AI processing, which some users prefer over raw specs. However, Xiaomi's newer Android 15 with HyperOS 2, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 indicate fresher technology. Pixel 4's only advantages are lighter weight (162g versus 213g) and likely superior night mode implementation. Unless you absolutely require Google's software ecosystem or minimal phone weight, Xiaomi 15 Pro offers dramatically superior value.
