Oppo's latest foldable makes every other book-style foldable look chunky. The Find N5 measures just 9.2mm folded and 4.35mm unfolded — thinner than many conventional flagship smartphones.
Specs at a glance

- Weight: 226g

The 5,600mAh battery is the largest we have ever seen in a foldable at this thickness. Oppo credits a new silicon-carbon anode battery technology that packs more energy density into less volume.
How thin is too thin?
At 9.2mm folded, the Find N5 is thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (12.1mm folded) by nearly 3mm. It is also significantly lighter at 226g versus 239g for the Fold 6. The inner display is 7.82 inches versus the Fold 6's 7.6 inches, with a noticeably better aspect ratio that feels less narrow.
The crease is still visible, as it is on every foldable, but Oppo says it has reduced the crease depth by 40% compared to the Find N3. In-person first impressions suggest the crease is less noticeable than on Samsung or Google foldables.
Hasselblad camera partnership
Oppo continues its Hasselblad collaboration, and the results are impressive on paper. All three rear cameras shoot at 50MP, and the color science has been co-developed with Hasselblad's imaging team. Key camera features:
- Hasselblad Portrait Mode with natural bokeh simulation
- 4K/60fps Dolby Vision video on all three lenses
- AI Scene Enhancement using on-device processing
Early samples from tech reviewers show excellent dynamic range and color accuracy, particularly in skin tones — an area where Oppo has traditionally been strong.
Software and durability
ColorOS 15 brings improved multitasking for the inner display, including a taskbar, split-screen with drag-and-drop, and floating windows. The hinge is rated for 500,000 folds, and the inner display uses Oppo's proprietary UTG (ultra-thin glass) with a ceramic guard layer.
