Both phones share the same $999 price point and 6.1-inch 120Hz OLED display, but the Xperia 5 V edges ahead with meaningful upgrades. Display brightness jumps dramatically from 1000 to 1700 nits on the V, making outdoor visibility significantly better. The camera system shifts from a telephoto-focused setup to a 48MP main sensor with Exmor T technology, offering superior detail and low-light performance, plus professional log video recording.
